Blue Concord Grape
This woody deciduous grapevine produces delicate yellow-green blossoms in late spring, which mature into clusters of deep purple, almost black, grapes by early September. The grapes are seedless and smaller in size, ripen earlier, and are perfect for fresh consumption and do great processing. A hardy and vigorous vine that thrives in sunny locations with deep, moderately moist, well-drained soil. However, they are adaptable to a variety of soil types and perform exceptionally well in clay and loam soils enriched with organic matter, provided they have good drainage. The planting site should be protected from harsh winter winds. The vine is self-fertile, producing fruit without the need for pollen from other varieties.
2 year root cuttings are 1/4" at collar with 1 or 2 branches
