Dense white flowers, often spotted with purple, top strongly upright stems that reach 2-3'. Blooms June-September and highly attractive to pollinators. Prefers partial shade and typically occurs in moist soils making it an excellent plant for rain gardens, shoreline plantings or any moist area. The leaves emit a strong aroma when crushed and can be used in teas.
