This native perennial wildflower produces abundant white blooms and grows up to 36 inches tall with multiple flower heads each containing 10-20 ray flowers. Typically blooms from May-July. Yarrow attracts many important pollinators including the endangered Monarch butterfly and Rusty-patched Bumblebee. A classic US native wildflower for pollinator and habitat gardens.
Historically, various Native American tribes used yarrow to treat pain, headaches, fevers, and to induce sleep.
